At Perfect Safaris we are passionate about education. We believe strongly that a good education brings about social upliftment and that by nurturing the abundant natural human capital in our country, we will contribute greatly to its sustainability.

YOU, our clients, help support this vision by travelling and booking with us. YOU too are assisting to enrich lives and uplift the local communities as we give back to education through the Kay Mason Foundation by donating a percentage of each booking received.

The Kay Mason Foundation is a small Non-Profit Organisation providing schooling and social support to deserving disadvantaged children with great potential. Our aim is to build leaders in our society through good education and to ensure success through our support programmes.

The Kay Mason Foundation was founded by Richard Mason in 1999 to eliminate barriers to quality education for underprivileged children and bridge the opportunity gap which is one of South Africa’s greatest challenges.  We enable scholars to transform their lives through education and self-development and we do this through our Programmes for Success and Continuum of Care Model.

The foundation consists of three programmes namely the:

  • Junior Programme: for pre-entering high school via the KMF Senior Programme
  • Senior Programme: Schooling throughout high school
  • Alumni Programme: Preparing scholars for life after school by giving study choices and career guidance.

To date the foundation has supported more than 360 scholars.  Scholars are part of the Kay Mason Foundation community for life and the foundation is extremely proud of what previous Kay Mason Foundation scholars have achieved in life.  Below is a short clip of Kay Mason Foundation – Impacting on the Youth.
